About Me
My passion for animation started when I was very young when I had an obsession with stop-motion and Claymation, however it wasn’t until high school that I took up digital art and developed a fascination with 2D and 3D animation. Inspired by the works of people such as Genndy Tartakovsky and Jhonen Vasques, I developed a bold style that reflected the cartoons that I grew up with while mimicking the charm and physical comedy from older cel-animated shorts.
Traditionally I work in Toon boom Harmony, drawing every frame by hand. Though I usually work with simpler designs, I do everything to keep movements complex and breathe as much life into the characters as possible through strong key frames, timing, and smears. What I want out of my career is to is to be able to utilize the skills I developed over my college years both in a work environment, as well as to tell my own stories. Having diversified my skillset to include storyboarding, illustration, and 3D modeling and animation as well, I feel like I am more than qualified to accomplish that goal.
